Nick Tucker broke the team record for the Pleasanton Meadows Sharks, but it wasn’t enough to overcome a deep DBAC team and the Sharks fell by a 601.5 to 391.5 score. Tucker established a new team record in the 11-12 boys free with a 26.55 time, only 0.30 off of the league record. In addition to winning the free, Tucker also won the fly.
Alyson Isaacs had a nice day, winning the 11-12 fly and IM. Sidney Vaeth was also a double winner. She took the 9-10 fly and IM.
The Under Six boys swept their age group for the Sharks. The medley relay of Nathan Shinn, Jack DuBos, Haison Park, and Zachary Lem started the meet off with a win and Shinn followed up with a first in the free. Next was the fly in which DuBos took first and Lem followed with a win in the breaststroke. Park took the last of the individual events, the back, and then the free relay team of Park, Shinn, Dubos, and Murphy Fenzl finished off the sweep. Not to be left out, the U6 girls were represented with a first place by Courtney Oliver.
Moving up the age groups, Trent Pozzi and Cody Vaeth took the back and the breast respectively for the 7-8 boys and Jack Geasa (breast), along with Tucker, finished first for the 11-12 boys. Both 11-12 relay teams also won their event. Both relays consisted of Tucker, Geas, Jack Miller, and Michael Azuma/
In the 13-14 age group, Kyra Schwaninger won the breaststroke for the girls while Colin Miller (IM) and Perry Cheney (free) got to the wall first for the boys.
Rounding out the first place finishers were the 15-18 group. Chris Iniquez finished first in the breaststroke and Joey Silva won the free. Finishing off the meet with a flourish for Pleasanton Meadows was the 15-18 boys free relay team of Joey Silva, Grant Sweetnam, James Cheney, and Aaron Silva .
