Pleasanton Meadows Swim Team
Press: Del Prado Meet
In the final dual meet of the season, the Del Prado Stingrays defeated the Pleasanton Meadows Sharks 601.50 to 392.5. Even in defeat, the Sharks had some great efforts including four swimmers with multiple individual wins.

Each of the multiple winners took two events. The Geasas, Jack (11-12) and Annie (13-14), both won the backstroke. Annie also won the fly while Jack took the breaststroke. Blake Tucker (9-10) won the IM and the backstroke and Sidney Vaeth rounded out the multi-winners by taking the girls 9-10 fly and free.

Also finishing first for Pleasanton Meadows were siblings Caleb (9-10 free) and McKenna Harris (7-8 back), Cody Vaeth (7-8 free), Amelia Kelly (7-8 fly), Haley Isaacs, (11-12 breaststroke) and Michael Azuma (11-12 free)

The Meadows also had seven free relay teams that got to the wall first. The under sixes had both free relays finish first, the girls team was Courney Olivier, Courtney Iseman, Samantha Herlich and Sydney Simmons while the boys had Matthew Whiteland, Haison Park, Zach Lem and Murphy Fenzl doing the honors. The 7-8 girls team (Jessica Rhoads, McKenna Harris, Emily Miligan, and Kelly) also took the free relay as did the boys 9-10 team of Caleb Harris, Jared Lem, David Azuma, and Tucker.

The older boys' teams also did well. The 11-12 team of Daniel Newman, Tommy Herz, Azuma, and Jack Miller finished first as did the 13-14 team (Perry Cheney, Amar Jyothiprakash, Colin Miller and Connor Greene) and the 15-18 team made up of Joey Silva, James Cheney, Grant Sweetnam, and Aaron Silva.
