By a narrow 29 point margin, the Pleasanton Meadows Sharks fell to Ruby
Hill. The 508-479 loss wasn’t without some great performances however as
Nick Tucker took first in three individual events (11-12 back, fly and free)
and was on the free relay team, along with Jack Geasa, Jack Miller and Jake
Fisher, that also took first and Alyson Isaacs wasn’t far behind Tucker.
Isaacs grabbed two individual wins (11-12 IM, Free) and two relay wins.
Joining Isaacs on the relays were sister Haley Isaacs, Talia Florio, and
Adriana Harris.
The 11-12 age group also had first place finishes from Geasa (IM), Tyler
Rhoads (breast), Harris (back), and Haley Isaacs (breast). The 13-14 group
also performed well with Annie Geasa and Chris Bush taking the backstroke,
Colin Miller the fly and Perry Cheney in the free.
The younger groups weren’t quite as well represented, but still did their
part. Jack DuBos (back), Haison Park (fly) and Sydney Simmons (back)
represented the 6U group and Trent Pozzi took the freestyle for the 7-8’s.
Rounding out the scoring were the 15-18’s. Alicia Brown won the fly while
Grant Sweetnam took the backstroke, and Joey Silva won the free. Silva was
joined by his brother Aaron Silva, Chris Iniquez and Sweetnam to win the
meet finale free relay.
